Education for Immunization Providers: Epidemiology and Prevention of Vaccine Preventable Diseases DVD Series June 25, 2009 Lorain County General Health District presents a four-part DVD series on Epidemiology and Prevention of Vaccine Preventable Diseases Continuing Education Credits Available* June 25, July 16, 23 and 30 1:00 p.m. — 4:30 p.m. Carlisle Fire Station 11950 LaGrange Rd. LaGrange, OH 44050 You are invited to attend any or all of the following sessions: June 25: Principles of vaccination, immunization schedules, general recommendations, contraindications and precautions, adverse reactions and vaccine safety, vaccine administration, and vaccine storage and handling. July 16: Diphtheria, Tetanus and Pertussis, Pertussis vaccines, Haemophilus Influenza Type B, Pneumococcal Disease and Poliomyelitis July 23: Measles, Mumps and Rubella, MMR vaccine, Varicella, Zoster and Rotavirus July 30: Hepatitis B, Hepatitis A, Influenza, Meningococcal Disease and Human Papillomavirus Register for each session within five days prior to Sally Shields, RN at 440.284.3257, or sshields@loraincountyhealth.com, or click here to register online. *The following CEUs are available, for each session: 3 CME (physicians) 3 CME (attendance for non-physicians) 3 CNE (nurses) 3 CHES (certified health education specialist) .3 CPE (pharmacists) .3 CEU (other professionals) CEUs are also available though the online series!
